Wind Over Water Kiteboarding Cancellation Policies

Client Cancellations

If you cancel at least 1 day (24 hours) prior to your lesson time, you will be rescheduled without penalty. If you cancel your lesson without 24-hour notice, you will be charged an $80 dollar cancellation fee and we will re-book your lesson for a different time. Lessons cancelled within 2 hours prior to the scheduled lesson time will be charged the entire price of the lesson. All lesson sales are final, non-refundable and non-transferable. Lessons will only be honored 1 year from the purchase date.

Wind Over Water Cancellations

At times we may have to cancel lessons at the last minute due to varying factors such as unsafe and/or unfavorable conditions, thunder, lightning, gusty winds, rain, offshore winds, light wind or no wind. This determination of the need to cancel is left to the discretion of the management and instructors. These decisions will be based on current or forecasted conditions, as well as on other factors such as safety, tides, etc.

If we make the decision to cancel the lesson, you and your instructor will find a mutually agreed upon time for rescheduling. If you cannot reschedule, Wind Over Water reserves the right to issue you a lesson time credit good for one year and not to issue a refund as a result of unfavorable and unsafe weather/tide conditions. Lesson time credits can be used for a lesson in the future for up to one year from the date the credit was issued.
